“News organizations” are running the hell out of this story because they see their function not so much to report facts but to enforce social norms like “police officers are automatically deserving of respect to a degree it is newsworthy if someone is mean to one of them.”

Well, that was Kirk being judged for the content of his character. This customer is being judged for the color of their skin. That was MLK’s dream… right?

Not coincidentally this is a pretty good list of Most Important Companies to Unionize.
The Boston Globe identified the companies in Massachusetts that employ the most SNAP recipients. A key stat: "In Massachusetts, 74% of working-age recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are employed, half of them full-time."

There are specific reasons Trumpists want war on Venezuela, but there‘s a generic one: they crave power to make war on anyone, any time, for completely fabricated reasons, and then to use the guise of war to increase violence and repression everywhere, including home.

They are lawless bestial scum.

This allows Trump (via DOJ) to use taxpayer money to bribe eight GOP Senators. It's that simple, there's no other way to describe it.

And where's the compensation for people injured by the Trump admin's unlawful conduct through DHS & DOGE?

Take a bow, @schumer.senate.gov, you did this.

Don't call the cops on someone in a mental health crisis unless you want them dead.
Three former San Antonio police officers were acquitted on Monday of all charges related to the fatal shooting of a woman who appeared to be having a mental health crisis when they were dispatched to her apartment in 2023. nyti.ms/4qRnvvT

These 8 didn’t go rogue. Schumer/Dems strategically selected 8 senators who were retiring/not up for reelection to be the rotating villians.
November 10, 2025 at 2:13 PM
The Demos who are meaninglessly voting against the GOP (who are up for reelection) are provided cover. Meanwhile the Dems who voted w/ Republicans are safe bc Americans will forget about their actions by the time they are up for reelection. Democrats have been running this scam for decades.
November 10, 2025 at 2:02 PM
No. This was a Democrat strategy, not just the act of a few senators. It’s called rotating villains. The Democrats who sided with Republicans to sell out Americans were strategically selected bc they either aren’t up for reelection cycle next year or are retiring.
November 10, 2025 at 1:55 PM
The Dems who voted w/the GOP aren’t up for reelection next cycle. This was a strategic sellout to allow “safe” Dems to throw Americans under the bus while protecting the Dems whose seats are up for grabs. Schumer & Dem leadership are working to protect their positions at the expense of the country.

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

dismantle democracy then this country is cooked.

You guys had more opposition to Mamdani, including aligning yourself with sexual predator, Andrew Cuomo, than you do to the GOP.

What a colossal disappointment Democratic leadership is 🤦‍♀️
November 10, 2025 at 3:12 AM
What? You guys are literally giving in for a promise for the GOP that they will hold a vote. Their promises are no good, and we know how they will vote.

If this is how Democrats are responding to a party that has spent decades laying the foundation from local to state to federal levels to

I for one think the Epstein Ballroom will be magnificent. I love the decor theme of “what if Uday Hussein ran a Ramada Inn.” And giving it a theme song everyone will associate with it is a stroke of brilliance! “Thank Heaven for Little Girls” is very catchy.

ICE is made up of men who have failed the human test and have nothing of value to offer this nation.

Adults with decency and options and possibilities don’t do this shit.

RAJU: You swore in 2 GOP members during pro forma session. Why not swear in Grijalva? Does it have to do w/her signature on Epstein petition?

JOHNSON: It has nothing to do with that. We'll swear her in when everybody is back

R: Why not now?

J: Uh - we'll schedule it, I guess, as soon as she wants

It doesn’t. But SCOTUS has said that federal law enforcement has a lot of latitude when it comes to enforcing the law. (To be clear, I am not defending the feds. Fuck them and ACAB. I’m just explaining the law.)

If their crimes are committed while enforcing the law, unfortunately, they are.

Unfortunately, the person above is correct. When federal officers are operating within the scope of their federal authority, they are immune from state prosecution.

I really like the phrase "Kavanaugh stop." It's not a Terry stop, because a Terry stop is short and based on reasonable suspicion of a crime. A Kavanaugh stop, by contrast, is when masked goons kidnap a person for speaking Spanish.
