The intro section I'm working on for Mouseward has gotten large and detailed enough that I'm having to set up a bunch of dynamic load zones for better performance. Which is both exciting and terrifying, this is definitely the biggest level I've ever made 😆
Super excited to show it off soon!

And I gotta say, moving from Reaper to Ableton: I feel like I have to work way less for way better sounding music 😆
Like, all the Ableton instruments sound good right out the box, I felt like I barely had to do any mixing. As a new user, it was a 10/10 experience! I think I've found my new DAW

Hey, I worked on this! I didn't open the Unity editor a single time, but I did use it as an excuse to get back into writing music for the first time in YEARS. Including learning Ableton from scratch, since it was time to move on from Reaper.

Yeah, you definitely get punished for hanging out within certain ranges around the boss. I feel like the first thing I try to figure out is where I need to stand for things to feel reactable, and then when to clawline in/pogo.

It's definitely tricky, but I felt like I started to notice the patterns/openings once I paid closer attention. That counter feels nearly unreactable sometimes though, lol

To folks that have played both the current and early access versions of Hades 2: Is there enough new stuff to be worth restarting your playthrough?
I've got about 30 hours in the early access version, and cleared both the Chronos fight and the half finished Olympus stuff a few times.

It's such a bizarre hill to die on. Like, do they understand the demographic of their own platform? And the more they double down, the more they invoke the Streisand effect. Even if you disregard the gross politics, it's truly baffling self sabotage.
