Always thought I was an average crastinator but according to my wife I'm a pro.
Bad jokes, poker and rugby, with occasional soccer, books and NI politics thrown in for the craic
Lads it's feeling like Gatland early 2000s when he gave a load of youngsters a shot time with Ireland. Fitness permitting I'd love to see Edogbo, Casey and Izzy get a start next time out

Great breakdown of where the game could be won and lost for Ireland.
Feel that France will focus less on scrum(could still milk a few pens though) and more on killing Ireland at the lineout with that light pack
IRELAND v FRANCE: The Preview ☘️

A 1,500 word tactical breakdown on the direction of travel, and Ireland's 'Path to Victory' if they are to replicate the magic of 2000, 2014 and 2018.

Enjoy! 🏉
Slam Search: France v Ireland Preview
Not since 2010 have Ireland felt like such rank outsiders in Paris, but, this is not an impossible task

@90minutecynic.bsky.social is this a tinfoil hat take? Have Celtic spent nothing in Jan so the board can post YTD figures for period up to 31/1 that might land them a bonus? Spending early to bolster the squad was obviously the way to go, but they'll use the manager change to excuse not doing it

He's right, we just won't appreciate that fact for a few years yet

@90minutecynic.bsky.social I'm sure you'll cover it on a pod, but initial thoughts on Cvancara? Feels like a classic Martin O'Neill signing a 'damaged goods' type player (Thommo, Hartson, Bellamy) and hoping he can get a tune out of them. Feels high risk

Looking forward to the Kok and Stock connection doing some damage at the weekend #Ulster #rugby #urc

That farce people are calling a boxing match is on tonight, and not gonna lie, I've never warmed to Joshua, but for my love of the sport I really hope he send that YouTuber to the shadow realm

It would appear Celtic have hired the French version of Russell Martin. If this is a sogn of things to come he'd be out of his depth in a paddling pool #celtic #celstm

Delighted to see Ulster rotate this heavily. As good as a cup run would be, league has to be the priority.
Izzy being back is great to see and McNamara being in the 23 is exciting too

Off to the old affidavit stadium (love the autocorrect here as it won't be anything other than Ravenhill) tonight for the rugby, first Ulster match live in a few years. Really looking forward to it, and spotted some of the Benetton lads in town today #URC #ULSvBEN

@threeredkings.bsky.social hi mate. I assume you've seen the42 post about Porter's minutes for Ire since RWC23. How much do you reckon his scrummaging technique is creaking because he's having to do so many fatigued scrums given the no of mins he plays, given he doesn't have elite technique to start?

Ten years ago this Friday, the All Blacks became the first team to ever retain the Rugby World Cup.

This felt like a perfect occasion to tick off a video we've been wanting to make for a very, very long time.

So were the 2015 All Blacks the Greatest Team of All Time?

Ulster v Lions was always destined to be one of those basketball type games wasn't it #LIOVULS

Big result for Ulster. Best I've seen Doak play as an attacking force.
If Dave McCann can avoid the silly pens he'll be a good international player #SHAVULS

Found a whole rugby community to engage with, so I'm not longer burning my wife's ear with my random rugby thoughts.
Can keep in touch with long distance friends and get to share in some of the great things happening in our lives
Has anything great happened in your life because of social media?

Bluesky people of #Ireland ,as I live in the north I don't see a lot of coverage of it but what's the craic with this random half yank lad running for president? Only vibe I'm getting from a few pics and soundbites is techbro Conor McGregor

PSA to anyone with access to BBC sport or iPlayer. Find the all Ireland hurling final, starts at 3.30, and sit back and enjoy one of the best annual sporting spectacles around. You'll thank me later

Hey @reallyfubar.bsky.social my Spotify shuffle tonight reminded me of your post a few weeks back about heavy rock covers. Have you heard of Nonpoint? They do a great In The Air Tonight and a completely marmite When Doves Cry if you still wanted leads on good heavy rock covers
