This weekend RCSI celebrated its annual Teddy Bear Hospital in aid of Oscar's Kids Ireland.

Over 600 children brought teddies for check-ups and surgical procedures. The children were able to explore 16 stations including x–ray, dentistry, phlebotomy and mental health.

It is with great pride that we announce our new Library is to be named in memory of Dr Karen Guinee, a medicine graduate of University of Galway, who died in 2006. She is remembered as a gifted and compassionate alumna who completed her education and training as a doctor with distinction.
