Maybe it's all of the chaos and things way beyond my control in the nation and world that is driving this, but lately I have been on a huge trip hop kick. I feel like I've had Underworld's Beaucoup Fish and Massive Attack's Mezzanine on loop (and loving it).

A little over a day after injuring my lower back and it's definitely still hurt but thankfully it's already noticeably improved. I am feeling pretty optimistic that this will heal quickly.

Arrrrggh, dammit. Pulled my back *again* while doing exercises specifically recommended for preventing my back from being injured (this seems to happen once every month or two). Hopefully this only lasts a couple of days. :/

Made it to the NC Chinese Lantern Festival just a few days before it closes and, wow, once again it was amazing! I love this festival, it's an annual must see for me. So cool. :)
