It took about 9-10 hours spread over 2 days, 2 trips to get more lights, some unexpectedly dead strands, and a cracked laptop screen (my DJ laptop no less! :'( ) but the 2025 Christmas light display is up! The "bulb garden" is new this year, with a staked off area sprouting large sparkling bulbs. 🎄

Hooooo boy I am sore today, lol. I'm glad the Pros vs Joes disc golf event today is much more fun and casual (and that I don't have to play all 19 holes).
It doesn't seem like I injured anything, just went through more activity and exertion than my muscles are used to yesterday (plus crappy sleep).

That was a LONG (5.5 hour!) single round disc golf tournament, but despite lackluster putting and several mistakes I managed to hang onto second for my division. And the tournament raised a bunch of money for charity, hooray!

Almond and vanilla extract with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ginger batter with an apple cider glaze. Good stuff!

Thankfully my back is continuing to improve and things that caused me pain (or I couldn't do at all) even 48 hours ago feel more normal now. I was also able to move my chiropractor appointment up a week to today, which also should help.
Yay progress! Catching up with hockey on DVR is nice, too. :P
