The pound cake I made for work's Thanksgiving pot luck today turned out pretty well! It's probably one of the prettier cakes I have made, too.

Almond and vanilla extract with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ginger batter with an apple cider glaze. Good stuff!

I am happy to report that the Pansy Pot seems to be thriving. There are a few yellow blooms that are about to open that will really contribute to the color! :)

Some scenes from what became me absolutely smashing my previous record at ZincHouse Disc Golf Course today! My one bogey was on the hole that ominously had a skull and some bones arranged on the fairway and then my Passion found about the most precarious spot for a birdie putt ever. Fun times!

Hooray, several days after planting and the Pansy Pot seems to be thriving. There are even the start of a few blossoms that weren't there when I planted them!

Over the weekend I said goodbye to the Wildflower Battle Arena (it was looking pretty ragged, and the cosmos ended up winning) and put some new plants in for the winter. Say hello to the Pansy Pot! (Yes, apparently whatever I put in this planter needs a ridiculous name)

First glow ace ever at the weekly glow disc golf league tonight! Glow Z Zone just had the perfect flex to slam the chains dead center and stick. Wooo! :D

One of my favorite disc golf courses in the area, Forest Ridge, is a seasonal course and it just opened back up yesterday! I played it after work today and it is still a beautiful (and HARD) course, but it also FINALLY has a practice basket. Hooray! :D

Despite a rough start my first sanctioned round in months went pretty well! One of those bogeys should not have happened and one or two of the pars were missed birdie putts. The next closest score in my division was a -5. :)

What an interesting sculpture to find on the disc golf course! I actually had to do a double take as we were walking up to the tee because I couldn't tell from a distance if it was a live animal or not, heh.
