Gah, these things stress me out. Mostly post about baseball (#GOMS), rugby (#allezlesbleus #oToulouse), being a dad, & why we shouldn't be sh***y to marginalized people.

The best-case “realistic” offseason is probably re-sign Naylor, trade for an average-ish RF who’s not so good you can’t bench him if healthy 2026 Robles is good, a bullpen grab bag, and a lot of platitudes about waiting for the young guys to develop.
Maybe, though the team just made a chunk of change from the playoff pool. $39m comes off the books between the Mitches, Solano, and DMo (and another $7m from Polanco but that’s a real loss).

Bigger issue is FA’s basically Naylor/Bichette or bust and we all know they’re not getting Bichette.
TBH I think there’s a hole at 2B/SS too. JP should probably move to 2B and the 2B who played this year, though young, aren’t very good (yet).
It’s gonna be a tough offseason too. Holes at 1B, 3B, and RF, probably shouldn’t re-sign Geno and bringing Naylor back won’t be cheap. Need a real bullpen upgrade and could use at least 1 more starter.
Not to be all zen or anything but this season was a gift. Now let’s improve the manager, lengthen the bullpen, and sign Bichette so JP can play his last year with the team at 2B where he belongs and our bad 2Bs can learn to be not bad in AAA.
Ok the job is hard but that call isn’t hard.
Highest leverage moment in franchise history calls for the best reliever. This isn’t hard.
Seriously. We deserve better.
Seattle and Toronto should switch ballparks.

Not cities, mind you. Just deconstruct each ballpark and move them. It’s a win-win.
I want to see a vintage 88mph Randy Johnson slider.
What was that, 9 straight fastballs to start? Does Wilson think this is 2006 Felix Hernandez?
Ok, I’m reconsidering my stance here.
JFC Wilson must really not trust Hancock at all.
Maybe, but I’m still hoping we see Hancock at some point. He’s good in relief and it would help keep other arms fresh. A 4-run lead seems like a good time.

Yes! Been seeing them all over Denver.
So is Hancock just on the roster in like an ornamental way or…

I’ve been a skeptic for years but dude legitimately looked great in his last start and has been nails in relief and it feels like Wilson’s forgotten about him. Would be a solid 3-inning opener.
Bazardo up in the pen? Is Hancock not on the ALDS roster?!
When did Kerry Carpenter become Ted Williams?
He’s not locating with the slider.
You’re not worried that Munoz hasn’t topped 96 since game 2? Because I am. I say go straight to Gilbert.
Most under-used player on the roster. Not convinced he shouldn’t get a chance to start next year.
Even with how awful the entire pen looked on Wednesday though? I’m going to be on the edge of my seat either way but…man.
Who wouldn’t be disappointed in his kid for…checks notes…becoming a Major League Baseball player at the age of 22?
