Puking is a predator defence trait expressed by larvae of pine sawflies, and the grand question is who contributes to collective defence when it’s cheaper to the individual to freeride on others’ defense effort. Tantalizingly, females in this species contribute more.

Anyone have any suggestions for a free online course (YouTube, etc.) that (1) introduces Python at an intro level and (2) is not too time intensive (<20hrs)? (Especially for students going from R -> Python!) The end goal would to do network analysis with NetworkX and understand what is going on.

I got tired of mashing together tools to write long threads with 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 and ℳα†ℏ—so I wrote La𝑇𝑤𝑒𝑒𝑡!
It converts Markdown and LaTeX to Unicode that can be used in “tweets”, and automatically splits long threads. Try it out!
