In this one, Green and Blue foxes are out enjoying nature together. They see a yellow butterfly flies by. Green talks to Blue and essentially narrates the comic.

Green: I like to think that people work like butterflies. At first you are a soft and squishy baby optimist.

(A yellow baby fox lies flat on the ground, says innocently “life is sunshine and rainbows!”)

Green: And then the bad things start to happen and you cocoon in a hard shell.

(A dark cocoon says angrily, “life is bad actually.)

Green: And maybe one day break out as a stronger, more powerful optimist.

(A hybrid fox-butterfly emerges from the cocoon looking determined, “if I can’t find the good in life, I will make it!”

It should but tbh I don’t think they care. High profiles skaters coming back to the sport is “good” for promotional purposes, for the general public not the diehard fans. And that, sadly, matters the most for them 😔

I love Sui/Han and still believe they’re one of the best pair skaters ever existed but knowing they’re about to take away that one Olympic spot from Zhang/Huang who fought tooth and nail to win it for the country leaves me feeling really sick to my stomach.. ⛸️

Blue: I see.

Blue inspects the cake closely.

Blue: is that a dead spider?
Green: I’m bad at baking too.

Blue: do you mind if I don’t eat it?
Green: No, I like you alive.

Green actually looks happy and relieved at Blue’s decision, while Blue is still looking at the cake in wonder.

Yeah I understand that. I mean, if anyone would be in any position to change the situation, it should be the president to try to bridge the gap between the government and private sector for the benefit of the athletes. This just feels like excuses to me 🤷

I just don’t get it. Wouldn’t the President of Latvian Olympic Committee themselves have the authority (& probably duty) to change the “ill-considered policies”? Or if they meant those of private sector, then clearly they’ve failed their job? Olympic athletes are heroes in ALL countries universally!

do not worry about a thing! From one non-native English speaker to another, i just don’t care if my English is perfect on social media. Fandom space shouldn’t be too serious. As long as it communicates what you feel well enough, I’ve found everyone decent is always so welcoming and forgiving! 💕
