I sacrificed years of my my kids young lives to be a youth leader. Was it easy? No. I could have said “fuck it” at any point. Thing is, I remember oldest guys being there when I was young.
They gave us moral guidance. I’ve done the same for another generation, cos nobody else would.

What they’re doing *is* a Haka tbh - it’s why I mention it.

It’s a challenge to *fight*- which the cowards in ICE etc with their covered faces & tactical gear *cannot* stand…genuine bravery.

Don’t push your luck. I was chief Scout for 450+ kids (=1000 parents). TBF, there is a moment you should let boys be boys: amongst them & nobody else. They genuinely don’t give a shit about anyone else at that point.
Girls are the same tbh.

Boys need solid moral direction, not bullshit.

I’ve always been a fan of supertaxing companies that pay their staff below living wage. It’s a very simple mechanism. Link supertaxing C level on top, & you’re guaranteed that wages will rise to a point that State support isn’t required.

The #Kharkiv mayor showed how children were evacuated from a kindergarten that was hit by three Russian Shahed drones.

Fortunately, the teachers managed to take the kindergarteners to the shelter in time, and as soon as rescuers reached the basement, all 48 children were evacuated.

Digital is far more convenient for sure, I got into film photography again more for nostalgia reasons - but was surprised by the real but mysterious “something” that film photos have over digital (DSLR v 120mm)

The “ritual” of taking film photos is also fun
