Create your own shortcuts for your art application bit by bit as you go through. Don't wait for a day to figure it out all in one sitting. Do it organically by observing the things you do most, and assigning a shortcut to that. More likely to use shortcuts that way.

Pace your drawing strokes. Draw a line, then wait a moment, draw another line. When you do this, your brain can catch up with your hand. It helps with clumsy line work and having to erase messy draughting.

(personal) Spacing charts notes.
Spacing charts are a language, their purpose is indicating how drawings will be SPACED in a given timeline, they are given to inbetweeners (animators that do inbetweens) by directors/key animators.
Even when producing your own stuff, they are important to utilize.
