Know the difference! It may cost you your gig
Three pieces of compact music gear. Korg popularized the concept of the small-format synth with their Volca line, and many other manufacturers followed suit: Roland with their AIRA Compact series, and Behringer with their Minis line.

I drew this years ago for someone with a really good lizard design. Not sure where they are now, but their lizard is still cool.

Immediately clicked with the P-6's sequencer, here's what I've done with the stock samples so far (it's a sampler)

This makes me think of something else actually- just why is furry writing even reviled by furries themselves? There's even an aversion to community-created worlds/lore too, which is strange given how most of us are trying to break away from corpos?

I didn't devour novels growing up or live super-eventful, so that head start isn't there, should I look into finding an editor to comb through my writing first? I know that writing in this community has A Reputation so I'd like to avoid making really oblivious bad decisions!

Only one chance for a first impression however!

I've been really hesitant on writing anything publicly about anything lore-related for too long! Writing isn't my strong suit at all, it takes me forever to even come up with bsky posts (when I'm not using the same word five times in them lol)

Some art related to the Seld, the region Marmus is from:
Slindells, being reptilian, can't withstand exposure to the constant cold of the Seld- therefore some sort of wearable heating is needed. They're wearing an older model of warm-suit, seen on the left.

Selyans have a natural layer of fur and fat to keep them warm in most climates, but even they need to bundle up from time to time though! Calhoon's, started by selyan Erril Calhoon, is a well-known restaurant and inn in the Seld. Known for always having a ready supply of natively-grown seldberries for their world-famous pie, Calhoon's has just started expansion outside of their home region, with one opening up recently in Tartaval, the region Marmus and Niz live. The baru-baru, seen being reclined on by a selyan, is a well-purposed animal for the people in the Seld. They're excellent for transport, their heavy coats and bulky bodies enduring the worst blizzards and rockiest terrain. The Seld in modern day.

I just want one where people actually comment, every other site has the art visibility of posting something on dropbox

The S-1 has per-step parameter locking, a good way to place 'drum kicks' between notes

The Roland S1 has a function called "D-Motion", that lets you assign parameters to an internal gyroscope

Putting out another call looking for people I can yap to about boardgames, I look to expand the Wooden Cube Crew's ranks

Not the biggest capitalism fan but I still really enjoy economic boardgames somehow? The money's fake so it's cool
Age of Steam, a game about building railroad networks to transport goods cubes to their matching colored city spaces. The payout from shipments funds more track, trains that can move further, and increased chances to play first. In Container, players use their factories to produce goods for other players to buy. This means they have to price their goods competitively to keep their own shipments to the main island consistent. This game has such an interesting mechanic to me! Power Grid is a classic economic eurogame, and was my first experience with the genre. Each player is operating a power company attempting to get their power stations in as many cities as possible, the players auctioning their revenue to purchase more powerful power plants. My go-to in this genre because of its ease of rules explanation, Chicago Express is one of my favorite boardgames.
Four rail companies are making their way across the Midwest to Chicago, and the players are buying shares to control each companies' operation. Multiple players can be in control of one company, which leads to some really great player interaction. Absolutely recommended (also please play this with me on tabletopsim)
