How is the situation of #OER in Chile?
Werner Westermann from the Library of National Congress of Chile observes that Chile currently lacks sustained governmental commitment to open education. While promising initiatives such as the Open University of Recoleta have been discontinued, other countries in the region, notably Brazil and Uruguay demonstrate how consistent public support can strengthen open education at a systemic level.
