Oozing sap. I could not readily identify the tree, but it had many lumps of sap on its trunk. #trees #nature #sap #ohio #fall

On a fine fall morning, a tree trunk and branch with patches of light and dark green mosses pours think sap from under its bark. The dangling translucent and bulbous mass is an amber color with one lobe a much deeper color.
