Note: If you would like to see what books I've read for the challenges, please friend or follow me on Goodreads! UPDATE: I finished all of my challenges without having to adjust them mid-year! I read over 20 more books in 2025 than 2024, and this is the most books since 2019 (pre-COVID!).

Snow, freezing cold, gale force winds, gray skies, a Lake Erie seiche pushing Lake Erie eastward, big waves - what better time to go to the beach ? Impossible to stay standing when out in the open - winds gusting to nearly 60 mph - but still got to photograph the turbulent lake.

From what I’m hearing from other writers, AI is already being used to generate marketing plans, etc, at major publishing houses. It isn’t great! But to say that AI is a useful tool for small press publishers is disingenuous, naive, and blinkered boosterism.

I’m back after a 3 day suspension for sharing a link to publicly available police reports exposing Blood Tribe nazis. They also removed the post. Bluesky evidently prioritizes the protection of literal, active nazis over community safety. Unfortunately for BT, they’re already in the sunlight now :)
