Actually, it does work like that now. The US Congress could pass a resolution giving Trump a Nobel Prize, the White House would host a formal ceremony, and within months it would become “true” for half of the country that Trump had won a Nobel Prize.

So this IL Hospital Association memo describes an incident where ICE detained a US citizen, gave them HEART PROBLEMS, took them to a hospital where the fought with medical personnel, then left when they realized they detained a CITIZEN.

Hegseth sucks. The Qataris suck. But we aren’t giving Qatar an airbase in Idaho. It’s building dorms etc. at an existing base to train them on F-15s we sold them, just like Singapore already has there. Common arrangement we have with lots of countries. This one was already being planned under Biden.
