I work with a lot blue collar dudes so I say being trans is like running your car on diesel fuel.
Sure it might technically work. Ish. Kinda. But it's not right. It's going to damage parts along the way.
Going on HRT was putting the correct fuel in my head. All of a sudden everything worked right.

I wish cis people understood this about gender transition. It's a little different for everyone, sure. Very much a roller coaster ride, too, because that's what all hormones do. But the extent to which so many of us just feel *right* after affirming ourselves, whether that be medicinally or not.
