Occasional reminder that the Vimy Ridge Memorial is literally sat on Canadian soil. The French made an official state gift of it on an anniversary a while back.

Which means Canada can not only join Eurovision, but technically qualifies for EU membership.
Just noticed that the Budget calls for Canada to join Eurovision. Like we are never going to get the points, guys. Unless we join the Eastern European block.

Why isn't the Canadian gov't thinking out of the box? Why aren't we following the example of other countries who have already adapted their postal services?

When those improved models are there and serving a broader purpose, it makes no sense to let ours become less rather than more functional.

I would like all the politicians who are not working to make air conditioning mandatory in long term care facilities to have to sit in a small unventilated room for 24 hours when it’s 37’C.

You know, instead of whining and complaining that we can't go into the woods, we could redirect that energy to pressuring our political leaders to take action on the climate crisis that exacerbates these dry conditions in the first place so that one day we can go back into the woods. #nbpoli #nspoli
