Like it doesn't have to be Sanemi. It could've been Obanai, Tengen, or pretty much any other Hashira and given us some different perspective on his interactions with others

The extra Giyuu comic is fun but it's kind of disappointing it was just more scenes with him and Shinobu since we got a lot of those in the Natagumo arc? I think the Kyojuro one was much better because it provided us some insight into his friendship with Mitsuri that we didn't get in the main verse

As a gay trans guy, being told over and over that I'm wrong for not including more women in the stuff I create for fun and personal fulfillment in my free time just feels so bad. It feels like people saying I'm not allowed to see myself in those male characters. No one does this shit to cis gays

Hell even many lesbians I know ship m/m because they relate to the characters more. There are a hundred different reasons a person might prefer a lot of m/m ships over others and ppl saying "you have a vagina you have to focus on female characters or you're a misogynist" gives me rancid vibes

Shipping spaces are pretty much the only places in fan culture where cishet dudes do not have the dominant voice. Calling it male centric is crazy. So much of fandom comes down to female and queer enjoyment and a lot of women and queer folks enjoy fictional men??

About once every two weeks fandom rehashes the same argument about misogyny and fandom and it's just so annoying

Shipping fandom is dominated by women and queer people. Most cis men I've met do not understand shipping culture. It is not catering to cishet men. They really hate it!
