thinking about the fourteen year old couple in front of me at the cinema tonight - he fully fell asleep and she played toy blast for the entirety of the thing. what a way to experience life.

have not slept in the slightest but have taken the good painkillers found a very nice looking midlands based yarn shop that delivers so hopefully my supplies will be waiting once i’m cleared to fly
up at night frantically trying to find an irish yarn shop that stocks my very specific tiny cable tiny knitting needle for the very specific project i have in mind (can’t fly with the ones i have because last time they were cruelly confiscated)

ok i’ve finished the tell all from season one and watched the jesse scene and see why people dislike him but like…1) he’s aggressively dutch, that’s who how dutch people are and 2) she obviously has a drinking problem and some kind of personality disorder, that’s clear with retrospect. #90dayfiance

yesterday i told my therapist how i can’t hack OTT compliments and emotion and how a compliment from a dutch person means the most to me. then afterwards my dutch boomer boss spontaneously sent me an email to compliment me on an article i wrote and i thought nothing exemplified that feeling more.

the fun thing about having an unstable torn meniscus in one knee and osteoarthritis plus previously repaired meniscus in the other knee is the interesting rhythms that my knees produce just by walking. there's a definite metronome of clicks on one side, but a nice jazzy pop from both here and there.
