Got reminded that a year ago tonight we had the greatest northern lights show that I can ever recall in southern Ohio. So glad I was able to go out and see the aurora.

I almost don’t dare to hope it’s real given all the factors, but please let this lead to a lasting peace, that the Palestinians get justice and self determination, and that there are consequences for everyone who enacted and enabled the occupation and genocide.

Doing a Tron rewatch. Tonight I discovered Peter Jurasik aka Londo from Babylon 5 was in this too. Wild to learn after all this time Bruce Boxleitner wasn’t the only shared cast member. Is that common knowledge?

The Supreme Court is already politicized to hell, so if I entertain that there’s still gonna be an election in 28, then I think court packing has to be a minimum requirement for candidates to be considered and I’m open to more radical reform solutions.

I didn’t see an easy place to comment when I canceled Paramount+ but they do have a customer chat so I tried that. Again, it likely results in nothing at CBS, but it was worth a shot.

Chat message to Paramount+ support: Hi Catherine. I don’t need any help I just couldn’t find any other place to leave a comment that I’m canceling my Paramount+ subscription on account of the hiring of Bari Weiss. I have appreciated CBS reporting for a long time but this is a step in the wrong direction and I’ll be getting my news and streaming content elsewhere. Thanks. Have a good day.

Look I know it won’t make much of a difference but as much as I like watching old Star Trek eps. & I have a boomer tendency to watch Sunday Morning I canceled Paramount+. If they’re gonna keep ceding to the right I don’t have to pad their pockets while they do it.

Against all odds we managed to get the kiddo the covid vax. Had to drive 30 minutes away to find any pharmacy authorized to do it. Ridiculous.

Governor if you are truly an ally at this moment then recall the state police who are injuring & arresting peaceful protestors. You can’t tell citizens to be vigilant against ICE then send other LEOs to harass them for doing so. This is either a constitutional crisis or it isn’t. Make up your mind.
