I know I've complained about this before but just playing through the DQ7R demo and seeing how much of that game is characters walking and doing canned animations (not a negative, they look nice!) made me remember Pokemon Legends Z-A (and the other Switch ones) and I got mad all over again lmao

honestly shirou is real as fuck because every new render/ sprite of saber i see in this game leaves me stunned for a good minute or two

The Dragon Quest VII Reimagined demo is making me smile from ear to ear, man. I’m also glad I played the bit of the original that I did because by comparison this opening sequence is like barely recognizable LMAO. I’m stunned how streamlined it is, whether it’s improved I’m not entirely sure

Went back to Age of Imprisonment, still quite enjoying it but there is a small part of me that thinks “This is what the Zelda flashbacks could’ve been.” Not 1:1 but like, at least a short level accompanying the cutscene. It would’ve been a nice comparison of old and new Hyrule to actually play in it
