I got my SSA pension payment yesterday with the latest "COLA" increase of 2.81%
However, the Medicare increase was a whopping 9.73%!
So, my effective increase is 2.13%
Inflation is around 2.6%
As any schoolboy in mathematics class will tell you, getting below inflation is not actually an increase! 🤦♂️
