I know how much of a stubborn ass I can be about things I have made my mind up about but I'm not beyond not hearing someone out and having a dialogue. Like you can disagree but also...just listen to what they have to say...is that wrong? Is it unreasonable?

I really need to get into the habit of muting and blocking because why is it that no one is able to have a proper conversation anymore and instead of hearing each other out people skip straight to the slander and emotion driven insults? 💀

Doesn't help that I avoid staring at faces like my life depends on it. The amount of times I've been told that characters express a different emotion than I have intended to draw them with are uncountable. xD And I always get a sense that something is just /off/. I just can't place it at all.

Recently figured out why I enjoy drawing them sleeping, and I think it's because I don't know what expressions convey a sense of peace and love because every picture ever that isn't a 10 on the scale of :D, or D: I genuinely interpret as a blank stare and don't see any emotion in.
