I've been fending off a series of major cyberattacks on my business since December with basically no rest, and it's properly fucking me up. I'm on amphetamines now to be able to function, I'm sure this all ends well for my endocrine and nervous system in a few weeks.

I am enjoying the gunplay of Borderlands 4. But the sheer number of moronic and decisions (and bugs! still!) that this game has is insane. Fucking CARRYING things for 10 mins for quests? All skills resetting at random? Vehicles that feel like tech demos? The worst UI in game design history? WHY?

What's prevented this pivot in the past is uncertainty over paying bills and rent, but I'm gonna give it a try, we'll see how it goes

I really like Pluribus. And I get why some don't. I just think they're wrong, or at least are expecting the wrong thing. It's peak sci-fi in the classic vein of the science fiction being nothing but a vehicle for looking at the human condition. In this case, the condition of one miserable human.

My year has wrapped up with a major cyberattack. I was already fully exhausted after months of pushing to get projects done. This has not helped. Genuinely flirted with breakdown a couple times the last few days. Rest of the year is a write-off for sure. I don't know when I'll get time to recover.
