I have always thought that the world was getting better and better with each new generation. I am beginning to doubt my views, but I still have hope.
Shootings take place everyday. I don't like it, but it can't be denied. I can't help but feel that the shooting in Washington DC benefits Trump's narrative. The death of the one national guard soldier gives Trump political capital.

The good news is, these people only make up less than 30% of Americans. Thank goodness for the other 70% who are honest, hard-working, democracy supporting people! We outnumbered them and we will show that at the polls!

The Guardsmen don't deserve being shot. I truly hope they recover, but I can't help but think of the daily school shootings in this nation. I guess there isn't enough outrage to go around. I'm sick of thoughts and prayers.
