Not much talk on this EO that is consolidating procurement at GSA so let’s talk. Agencies have a lot of contracts. Like a shit ton of them with a small group of contracting folk that understand the mission of the agency. GSA doesn’t have the knowledge or throughput to handle just the modifications!

This made the rounds amongst Feds and companies in the Fed space. It’s odd that they are gutting GSA but then looking to make this move. What it means? Not really sure tbh but this would mean moving all 1102s to GSA which SHOULD take an act of congress.
