Thankfully have been busy working and forgot to share this. Super excited to start in September. #AmericanCinemaEditors #PostChat
I bet Trump folds on his China tariffs by Friday.

When China says it’ll “fight to the end,” I don’t think Trump has any idea what that means

China Vows to ‘Fight to the End’ If US Insists on New Tariffs
China slammed the US for threatening to hike tariffs and pledged to retaliate if Washington follows through, raising the stakes of the trade war between the world’s two largest economies.

And now to actively avoid spoilers until I watched the episodes.
Saw some set photos of the upcoming “Neuromancer” tv show. Really excited! They nailed Molly’s look.
At least the whole blaming lack of savings due to buying avocado toast might make sense now with the how expensive everything is about to get.
I’m assuming they’re talking about Lake Suwa and the lack of Omiwatari? I only know this because of Grand Seiko watches 😂
Rest in peace L.J. Smith. Without her source material I would never have had the opportunity to work on “The Vampire Diaries” and eventually edit on “The Originals” and “Legacies”. Thank you for the world you brought to life.

Hey, remember when so many elected Democrats publicly called for Joe Biden to drop out of the race that he actually did?

We need Democrats doing that now with Chuck Schumer. @schumer.senate.gov is unfit. #ResignSchumer
Tell that to Schumer. Maybe lend him some of your spine.
Just listened to Michelle Martin dog walk Troy Edgar. We need more of this everywhere.
Michelle Martin put on a masterclass on NPR on how to interview government officials that lie and deflect. She kept pushing, asking, and calling out the lies of DHS Deputy Secretary Troy Edgar about the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil . one.npr.org/i/nx-s1-5326...

Huh. Considering, as you may recall, Adele Lim walked away from writing the film sequel when the studio's offer to her was a small fraction of her co-writer's pay and her extensive TV experience didn't seem to "count", there's poetic justice in her being set as the showrunner for this TV adaptation.
A #CrazyRichAsians TV series in the works? This just made my week.
I use IMDBPro and just have a resume. My resume is also hosted on my agent’s website.
They probably forgot they weren’t online.
Haha yeah I tend to not mention probabilities and focus more on steps to take to network and create their own cohorts that can help each other break into the industry, probably less depressing. Oh and tell Katie I said ‘Hi!’, we worked on “The Originals” pilot a lifetime ago 😂. Hope she’s well!
I’m just hoping I don’t depress the students too much talking about the current state of the industry.
Every year I go back I add a credit or two to my intro and talk about how I lucked into a union Apprentice Editorship basically out of college. I know now that that’s not a normal path most recent grads can do but also no one really has a standard path in this industry.
Going back to my alma mater on Thursday to talk to the Production students about what I do in post-production. Started doing this in 2010 when I first became an Assistant Editor. I think I’m finally at the point in my life where I have no idea what a 20-something college student is going through.
IRL or in REM?
