Not everything that looks “scientific” truly is. Beware of unreliable journals that fake legitimacy while hiding questionable research practices beneath the surface.

AI is helping science — but it's also being used to cheat.

Peer review hacks, fake articles from paper mills, and bought citations are spreading fast.

How long will outdated evaluation systems keep rewarding this?

During the pandemic, major publishers like Elsevier or Springer made COVID‑19 research freely available.

This enabled rapid knowledge sharing, faster collaboration, and stronger global coordination.

It showed the true power of #OpenScience.

Let’s not go backwards.

Few moves are as damaging for the reputation/perception of a journal/publisher as irrelevant or loosely relevant invitations to join editorial boards

Do you genuinely expect me to volunteer my time when you didn't spare 2 minutes to check my profile?

Many research projects are publicly funded

Yet, the results often remain locked behind paywalls

This means citizens pay twice—once to fund the research through taxes, and again to access it…

…Isn’t it time we made public research truly public?
