Ja, und mit der Forschung zur Verkehrssicherheit im lässt sich getrost korrigieren: es muss heißen: MEHR Ideologie, WENIGER Sicherheit für alle. So einfach ist das. Grrrr. Es beleidigt einfach den Verstand! Ernsthafte Frage: wessen Interessen stehen dabei eigentlich im Vordergrund?

Wir erleben jetzt also nach den Testballons bei der Migration den Frontalangriff der Unionsparteien auf den Sozialstaat samt der Verweigerung einer Debatte um Steuererhöhungen für Besserverdienende. Lässt sich ein Programm zur Stärkung der #noafd eigentlich auf einen einfacheren Nenner bringen?

This year's meeting is special because of the historical moment as the ILO is trying to maintain its relevance by entering a debate on a new labour standard on decent work in the platform economy. It was great to get a glimpse of it, share some historical knowledge and feel the engagement.

For the second time I had the chance to present the history of the #ILO to a group of trade unionists from the Nordic countries preparing to visit this year's #ilc. This Geneva school has a long tradition reaching back into the 1920s.

I do accordingly have my doubts whether such a government will be able to act as a factor of stabilization either for Germany or Europe. My fear is that instead we will see more of the politics of distraction, the anti-migration and culture war talk that has marked the campaign.

They will essentially be marked by indifference to the role that growing social inequality has had in the growth of the far right. It will offer as its main feature more cuts in social spending, which will only be exacerbated by the coming necessities of defense-spending.
