Morning Bluesky! I am doing some policy work at the moment and want a word to describe anyone in receipt of post-compulsory education. The favoured word seems to be "learner" but I wonder why "student" has gone out of fashion? FE and apprentices even at level 4 - 7 now seem to be "learners".

Sky of the day. We are welcoming our first cohort to our of Graduate Entry Medical programme this morning. The culmination of many years of hard work in Chester Medical School and, for the 65 students starting today, the beginning of an exciting and life changing journey.

Sky of the day - it’s a bit breezy this morning! Feeling very energised after #altc24 and UUK Day Two. I always love catching up with friends from across the sector and even felt a tiny bit optimistic that things might get a little better.
