This passive h6 transpires in other variations, too.
I've never played against 5... Qf6!? before
6. 0-0 (standard move) h6? (instead of developing)
7. e5
Ofc, it's bullet & blitz repertoire

Everybody knows that I'm absorbed with Basman's games
This is from 1982 (against David Rumens, Kings Head International, London), a King's Gambit
White to move

Why is Grob's Attack named after Henri Grob?
In the ChessBase Database, he has no games with White starting with 1.g4.
That's because he played lots of correspondence games featuring the Grob. Out of 121 games with White, 118 start with 1.g4.
It's also because he published Grob's Angriff in 1942.

I've had so much fun playing Center Game (Scotch) with the suboptimal Bd3 (-> Greek Gift).
4 ...Bc5 is the most played here.
White can proceed safely with 5. 0-0 (or c3 bxc3, Nxc3 (or 0-0 cxb2, Bxb2).
A high risk move is 5. Ng5 h6? (pretty common),
Nxf7 Kxf7
Qh5+ -> Qxc5 -> Qa3

"In 1963, Czech theoretician Ludek Pachman in his book Queen's Gambit and Other Close Games wrote of 1.g4:
"A doubtful continuation, motivated by a tactical trap which, moreover, is incorrect" (Keres)

I've decided to go through Golenishchev's course (3 vol).
I need to add some structure to my chess schedule.
In the past, I have tried my luck with Yusupov but I have found it difficult (as much as valuable).
I'm 1840 on chess com (in reality around 1500).
This (3rd Category) should go fast.

Fide Chess Arena is filled with bots.
Played a Grob game yesterday (never played against that variation; did poorly but I managed to win). Today, another game, lucky me, I remembered all the moves. The exact moves!
