Serious question: What's stopping the State of Illinois from arresting Stephen Miller & charging him with incitement?

The Senate didn't confirm him. He's just a guy.

At some point, the states MUST use their authority to prosecute, because the federal government certainly will not.

Remember when Trump said he wanted generals like Hitler had? That’s what he and Hegseth told our Generals and now we’ll find out if Trump gets his wish. Multiple Nazis tried to assassinate Hitler and then they all surrendered to Allied Forces when they lost the war.

I’m not a law enforcement expert, but doesn’t the state of Illinois and every county and city in it have law enforcement officers who are trained to question suspicious persons and confirm their legitimacy? Let THEM confront armed and masked thugs and keep their body cams on.
