“European officials may end up offering Ukraine a financial Band-Aid when they had hoped for a financial bazooka.” Tragic loss of nerve. The $244 billion must be used to help Ukraine survive Russia’s illegal onslaught. Belgium is being cowardly.

More to the point: It's what Nazis and Russians do. Just ask Ukraine.

Putin is a wanted war criminal. Clearly, Trump and his lawless Cabinet are emulating his heroes. This regime must be removed, prosecuted and convicted. They must go to prison.
They better be more than just concerned. They all know it's a war crime and murder.
We don't kill survivors that's what the Nazis did,.

🧵. The key point is that even if one accepts the dubious proposition that these vessels are legitimate military targets that does not make the shipwrecked sailors legitimate targets. As an aside, is the USG really going to pretend that the drugs could have been salvaged?
The USG has a new explanation on why they (now admittedly) intentionally killed 2 shipwrecked men. It does not pass the laws-of-war smell test

Worse for Hegseth, NYT: "Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth approved contingency plans for what to do if an initial strike left survivors."
