Bravo for all airport strikers in Germany! 100% affected as I was going to fly tomorrow, had the chance to take a train to Paris instead, but this is what I call a good strike. Strikers are asking for €350 more per month. Which according to circumstances it is not much to ask.

I’m very saddened to hear about Thomas Hylland Eriksen’s passing yesterday. Globalisation: Studies in Anthropology was and it is influential to me. Those who know him say that he was warm, generous and constantly curious thinker. A rare kind.
