Pigeons are often treated as pests, a nuisance to be exterminated, when they're just the same as stray cats and dogs : pets that were abandoned a long time ago.

Poor little blackbird teen fell into the dog pool, had to fish him out.
Dried up a bit and put to cook in the sun in a safe place, he was still responsive so he should be fine !

Another proof that emergency service workers are super cool
I witnessed a real-life wildlife rescue on Monday at Pinkstons Watersport Centre in Glasgow.
The emergency services were on site for a training session, which became real when I noticed a feral pigeon struggling in the rapids.
Well done to our emergency services 👏 👍 😀
