We're down to the wire, folks! Only 7 days remain till our contract expires, and Management is STILL refusing to bargain meaningfully with us on most major issues including layoff procedures, salary increases, severance, health care, and the inclusion of The Dodo. It's like they WANT us to strike!

What happened with Polygon today is so fucked. Vox Media has made some atrocious decisions in my six years here but this is really something else. And to do this in the middle of us bargaining a new union contract, where they scold us for asking for better protections, is just unconscionable.

But most importantly, as other places debased themselves, we refused to bend the knee.
