“Misery” premieres 35 yrs ago today.

“What I loved [about Caan] is that he wasn’t the obvious choice,” said director Rob Reiner. “He was Sonny Corleone .. With Jimmy, you’re always waiting for him to explode, and the fact that he can’t — that’s what makes the movie work.”

In 1974, Gary Tyler was a Black student bussed into a newly desegregated Louisiana high school. When a white mob attacked his bus and a white student was killed, Gary was wrongfully sentenced to death by an all white jury.

Tyler’s case shows how bias, fear, and discrimination drive wrongful convictions — and why confronting racial injustice in the legal system remains urgent today.

DON’T LET THEM FOOL YOU

Black Friday $ sales are higher this year because things are more expensive. So consumers aren’t buying more items, they’re just paying more them.

I mean this with all due respect, but if you believe that the Bible (or any other religious text) has all the answers you'll need and that nothing you'll learn at a university can change that, then you should not be going to a university.

It's a waste of your time and it's a waste of theirs.

Hegseth appears to have crossed a line even the GOP can’t ignore.

Maybe I missed it, but has even one Republican in Congress spoken out against Trump’s corrupt pardon of a guy convicted of helping funnel more than 500 tons of cocaine into the U.S.?

Has a single reporter asked anyone on Team Trump about why it's OK to bomb little boats that "might" have drugs on them while pardoning one of the biggest drug dealers we've managed to convict?

NOEM: The processes put in place were put in place using info that was gathered during the application process that happened under Biden. That has been completely fixed.
