Yeahhhhh we didn't step foot in the US during his last term, and we won't this time either. Doesn't matter how much fun we'd be missing out on. :/ Toronto is an amazing city to visit, worth the 5 hour flight ;)

OF COURSE it does, we're now years into rents and mortgage payments gobbling up unsustainable amounts of even good household incomes, people are bloody broke.

Going all in on a real estate bubble got us HERE. Yet some politicians STILL pump the Canadian dream as retirement via home equity. IYKYK.

Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

Nearly every realtor video I get sent that acknowledges the condo crash is trying to put the spin the shift to PBR is a death knell to homeownership & condo scarcity is imminent - FTHB don't fall for it!

Found long lost family members, made lifelong friends through shared hobbies, created home businesses that allowed me to make good money while needing to care for a disabled family member. I could go on.

Mine isn't conversation, used to forgetting what I was going to say. :) but being in that "zone" of productivity getting things done & interruption - bladder exploding or hands shaking bc ya forgot to eat today, or the dog needs outside now. Being able to pick up again where I left off is amazing.❤️

Agreed. There is actually no safe/healthy level and alcohol is damaging to health. and I say this as someone who enjoys the odd glass and sometimes cooks with and adds alcohol to desserts.

Alcohol should be packaged like cigarettes. Plain labels with pictures of diseased organs and car crashes. It doesn't make much sense for Canada to go all in on warning people about the dangers of tobacco and not do the exact same thing for alcohol.

It would be nice if politicians, you know, did something about the housing crisis.
I get it, it caught them off guard because it's only been brewing for a few decades, but now that they know about it, maybe they could treat it with at least half as much urgency as a fictitious crime wave?

Can the typical local household income rent a suitable home for their family needs and have their TOTAL housing costs sit at 30% or less of HHI?

Most cases this is a NO, People in BC spend well beyond that for rent ALONE. This popped bubble has a long way to fall. #Rent #BC #HousingCrisis
