A visa may not be a right, but any law-abiding visa holder ought to be able to expect the government to honor it. And regardless, they enjoy the same right to free speech and due process as the rest of us. www.wbur.org/news/2025/05...

Here's a new take on "figures don't lie, but liars can figure." Must remember this one.
There’s an Andrew Lang quote that seems to get so directly to the current discourse, where he complained about people using statistics “the way a drunk uses a lamppost—for support rather than illumination.”

So much discourse today is about providing support, not illumination.

This is so easy, even *I* (not a lawyer) got this one right.
Even *if* you accept Stephen Miller’s (textually, historically, and morally indefensible) claim that undocumented immigrants are not entitled to due process, you’d *still* need due process to ensure that the individuals at issue are, in fact, undocumented.

His argument fails even on its own terms.

You should be very concerned about this. And if it happened at NLRB, you can be it has happened (or will) to all other government data. That, plus an "anonymous tip" = bad news for anyone.
