you can take the whole box to Best Buy or Clickaway or Greenwaste (?? they may have changed their name ) and they will recycle it for free. Some things like TV you pay $20 but most stuff they stripe it out

double check Youtube .. a lot of the paywall stories are on podcasts and you can get the whole article that way and little insight from the author. Sure listening to someone prattle on can be a bore I usually do house cleaning while I listen

Piggybacking on this to share a story I overheard today. Lady in front of me was USAID. Got fired while she and her family were stationed overseas. Kicked out of their home and kids pulled from school. Moved back here, living in a shared apartment, and she’s selling things on Etsy to get by. 💔😡

it actually offends me how sloppy and careless they are. anyone who’s ever been laid off knows the panic you feel when it happens. and while obviously it’s good that they backtracked, these are people’s fucking LIVELIHOODS they’re messing with.

It is insane given how $2M homes are now being renting out the rooms all over Zillow and Craigslist The mansion is an opulent SRO charging $3K for a 500 sq ft room and a shared bath.
but even I checked there is no below market housing in SB79 and what about seismic ? who needs to worry about that
