I miss how geometric the NYC skyline used to look

The Chainsaw Man movie was incredible but the thing that stood out to me the most was the color design. Every scene I was taking mental notes.

I recently unearth my ereader that I bought like 13 years ago. Still works great, perfect for the winter subway.

How did Parker Posey not get an oscar for her performance in Scream 3

Winter villages are the scourge of NYC. They take up so much space and offer nothing at ridiculous prices. They couldn't even come up with interesting signs for this ad.

I hope the illustration historians cut everyone from this period some slack, these days you have to draw something where everything is in the center of the image so it can be cropped 6 different ways for web, not because I'm bad at composition.

I hope someone from Hollywood is getting footage of this. It's just free assets for the next Gerald Butler film.

The manosphere is taking me on an incredible journey. If I’m not in a sewing class learning how to do hand stitch repairs on all the italian shirts I’m buying by the end of the year it’s because I’ve already moved on to an even more esoteric interest.

I think I’m just going to stop doing digital paintings for editorial. I send in sketches, roughs, and updates but I always get “whoops, I know we approved those but can you completely change everything about this piece?”

Chick-Fil-A is irresistible to the NYC tourist. They don’t care about the artifice of trends or try to validate themselves with exotic fare. They will trample a million influencers to get the regular chicken sandwich they ate yesterday at the airport and a week earlier in their hometown.

I bet Parker Posey could do an incredible Pam Bondi impression.

I’ve heard numerous accounts lately of people who have never seen LOTR which is like hearing someone say they’ve never eaten pizza

Trump is such a fool. Going to an unexpected state visit at a castle, 100 dinner guests, the king will be there??? The perfect setup for a british murder mystery.

I was eating dinner at some burrito spot's backyard and there were rats just casually walking around and climbing over the walls. Seemed problematic.

I wonder if cultures who write right to left, draw that way too? Like their compositions instinctively get designed in that way too. I’m dyslexic so it’s never been an issue for me.

I was walking around the japanese bookstore today looking at all the covers, thinking how cool they were and thought wow being an illustrator is such an interesting job
