Editorial: On Wednesday, the full bench of the Federal Court found Lehrmann had raped Higgins. The court went further than the trial judge, finding that Lehrmann not only raped Higgins but that he knew she was not consenting.

Bruce Lehrmann’s big lie
Bruce Lehrmann is a liar. For years now, he has lied about the night he raped Brittany Higgins. He has made a small industry from this lie. He has sold it to television networks, in exchange for cocaine and sex. He has laundered it in the Murdoch press, where he has been invited to mock his victim and her husband.

Labor’s new AI plan puts faith in self-regulation
In a bid to support Australian innovation in the AI revolution, the Albanese government has stripped back layers of regulation, which critics say hands big tech too much power.

Air pollution from cars kills more people each year than the road toll.

Australia needs legislated clean air standards. The govt wouldn’t agree to include them in the environmental laws passed last week. I’ll keep trying - they’ll save lives.

I just reapplied and my new premium will be $1062/month.

And don’t forget: I still have a co-pay for every visit and pay for prescriptions.
