"We are fully embedded in Merseyside life: we work full-time, pay taxes, run a business, and own our home, but after Reform UK's announcement about scrapping or undermining ILR, families like mine are now fearful”
Merseyside family left 'terrified' by Nigel Farage's latest plans

I see people are spending their Tuesday morning fuming about an award based on opinions.

There's no opinion when it comes to winning league titles and European cups.

This is very sad news.

When I started at the Echo I covered women's football in my spare time

Matt was always a great fella to speak to and was always honest.

He knew the game so well

RIP

I was 13 and remember staying up to watch it. He pulled in a crowd like no other British boxer.

This is very sad news. Ricky Hatton is the boxer who made people my age fall in love with the sport.

He had a following like no other. There was a group of people who would follow Ricky Hatton home and away like they do with a football team.

A legend.

I set out to speak to those directly affected to find out about the impact this is having 👇
We escaped war and torture but now we feel unsafe in Britain
Special report: Amid protests and rising aggression towards asylum seekers across the country, we spoke to those being targeted

Very lucky to have seen Oasis twice now, including travelling to Chicago to see Liam and Noel on fine form. It was a very different atmosphere to Wembley, though
I saw Oasis in UK and USA, Noel's question showed huge difference

An attempt by me to explain the pain and frustration that lies behind Liverpool fan's booing the national anthem and why this absolutely cannot be compared to disrupting a minute of silence for a young dad killed in a car crash
You can't compare National Anthem boo and Jota silence disruption
ECHO political editor Liam Thorp explains why Reds fans protest at the National Anthem and why you cannot place this in the same bracket as a number of Crystal Palace supporters jeering a silence for ...

People wasted 25 days of their summer not watching that test series. Incredible cricket from the first day. Drama up until the final ball.
