I assume eleventy jillion journalists have asked you this already @jay.bsky.team but does BlueSky have a statement on the Australian age enforcement of social media (legislation) and how are you going to go about doing it for an entire country?

Or do you drop Australian access?

The Allan Labor Government is walking away from sensible cannabis law reform. To put it mildly, we’re pissed.

Sadly, the government has made this decision out of fear of losing a law-and-order election.

I just listened to his interview on ABC Melbourne and it basically was this

“We will dissolve a democratically elected body to work with people we decide represent the community.

But we have no actual unique plans other than to cut down what has happened under Labor and to go back to the past.”

This is a massive disappointment from the Victorian Government.

They will continue to destroy people's lives and waste police resources, to continue a failed crackdown on a practice that has been happening for thousands of years and has no victims.

The remarkable ramp-up in support for One Nation continues.

(Few seem to be explicitly polling Palmer. This assigns an arbitrary 2% support to the 'Trumpet' party based on the 2025 election result.)

Doesn't budge on any info re: a legal challenge

YouTube's Public Policy/Government Affairs senior manager Rachel Lord comes out swinging at the internet search code/teen social media ban inquiry.

"The legislation will not only be extremely difficult to enforce, it also does not fulfill its promise of making kids safer online"

No change at all to how the fundamental debates of the nation are addressed.
