The #ABC has spent $2.6m on its legal fees in the action against Antoinette Latouf.

That’s not including internal costs of staff.

Guessing their shareholders will be paying for this one.

Need to take a big sip of tea and look at who the shareholders are and where the money comes from..

What a difference a near-decade makes. Back in 2017, the main concerns raised by New York City's Civilian Complaint Review Board was that officers were routinely violating the right to record police officers. Sure, there wasn't nearly as much precedent to rely on then (and we're still waiting for the Supreme Court to make this right definitive), but it seemed pretty clear no one should be arrested for exercising their First Amendment right to record public officials engaged in their public duties.

It’s some sort of sign that I had no idea there was a byelection in Hinchinbrook and I have seen nothing on mainstream media about it.. but I’m finding out via Casey here on BiueSky 🙏🏾👍🏾

Hinchinbrook: The first six booths have arrived, all of them small, and there's a sizeable first preference swing away from the KAP (-31.6 per cent), splitting roughly evenly between the LNP and One Nation. No preference counts yet.

We could have also had this effect in Australia because our electricity prices are so low that they could do with a boost - according to Ted O’Brien.

And as per the last Coalition policy we could have even had commercial nuclear in 20-30 years..
'Troubled Hinkley Point C #nuclear power station will add £1bn annually to UK energy bills. Money will be taken from consumers and handed to #EDF to subsidise operations, making it one of the UK’s most expensive sources of electricity.'

Baker delivered Van Dyck's triple portrait of Charles I to Bernini so that he could carve a bust of the king. While there Baker commissioned this portrait of himself.

This has been underway for more than 50 years, structurally but sure, it's become particularly acute in the last 15 years and we're still talking about what regulators are doing and ignoring that they work within a legislative framework politicians approved..
