Hi, i'm Pierre, I'm a plant scientist and study how crops respond and adapt to their growing environment, by using concepts & tools from ecophysiology and applied maths.
I only recently noticed that scientific and artistic approaches are very similar, so i fear i might also be coding for fun!

oh. been there for the last 7 days. literally told the kids about the old times, along with the experience of incomplete image loading. the wonderful tech support people made the fiber light up again 2h ago. cheers !

yes also feel that the "remix" culture is not very well considered. patching concepts from different domains seems less valuable than addressing these new gaps as you said. recently failed a call, so i might be not overly optimistic :)

indeed, outside it is. A book about creative processes for rule-based concrete poetry. Lovely and informative essays alongside the illustrations! A fine way to support artists, imho.

i remember having to tune resolution / ratio to get a suitable pdf export (typing "e" from the html page). with quarto & reveal.js rendering, i used in header.

Reasonable, minimal collective action for a better scholarly publishing ecosystem

First, think twice before sending your work to a for-profit publisher. In biological sciences there are journal lists like DAFNEE that aggregate society and not-for-profit journals. Services like PeerCommunityIn review and publish work FREE OF CHARGE, with journal sections covering the life sciences and more. Invest your APCs back into science.

Second, IGNORE ALL REQUESTS from these publishers. Do not respond to requests to review. Do not respond to requests to head up special collections. Do not become an editor in these journals. Do not subsidise their business model.c

oui, ça semble rapide dans ton cas. je voulais dire que ces défauts sont apparus un peu plus tard et ne m'ont pas semblé gênants en utilisation velotaf. pour les stats réponses : 32mm, 4 bars, vélo dehors le jour, dans la maison la nuit.

Je trouve aussi que les 4 seasons vieillissent bizarrement. Je les garde 4-5 ans avant de ne plus trop oser rouler longtemps avec. 🫣
