So, now that Steven Guilbeault has resigned from cabinet (out of principle) can we expect him to cross the floor to join the Green Party, where he should have been all along? No?

I was happy to see the “sandwich guy” was found not guilty today. He was very open-faced at his sub-sequent press conference despite being grilled by the media, and denied that he had ever used a club against officers. Obviously a well-bread young man. Anyway, that’s a wrap.

As a Jays fan, I can now appreciate how Edmonton Oiler fans have suffered the past 2 years, especially when your nemesis is a powerful, loaded team from the southern U.S.
But Goliath shouldn't rest easy...David will rise again!

The celebration of the life of my friend Darragh Mogan will take place at West Royalty Community Centre in Charlottetown on Thursday October 30, 7:00 p.m. Darragh passed away October 12, aged 79. Family, friends, DVA, NDP, Ellen’s Creek Watershed Group, PEI Symphony, etc. were all part of his world.

So Polievre wished Freedumb Convoy leaders a happy life? Does this guy seriously even want to be PM? How many votes did that statement just cost him, especially in Ottawa? Did losing Carleton teach him nothing?

I wore my lucky Blue Jays World Series sweatshirt today, personally autographed by Duane Ward himself at the Charlottetown Dairy Queen. But the Jays don't really need luck against these Yankees.

This guy has obviously been fed too often by local residents. No fear, but keen for a handout. I had to talk him into getting back to foraging in the leaves with the rest of his crew.

An actual sign on Rideau River Eastern Pathway!

Apple TV colour commentator Ryan Spilborghs referred to Pete Walker as "Paul" at least 3 times, even though his broadcast partner was saying "Pete."
Homework?

If Canadians needed another reason to jettison our costly, outdated monarchy, the upcoming spectacle of the actual English king cosying up to the wannabe American king should suffice.
By the way, didn't diplomacy used to be an honourable profession, not just kissing the butt of autocrats?

In tonight's Jays game, Buck just said that Kirk spent last winter getting himself in "great shape." Great shape??? If Kirk's in great shape, then so's that Cincinnati pitcher named Big Sugar.

Ouch, ouch…the 2 recent PEI byelections were beyond awful for the NDP PEI. How to pull this party back from the brink of obscurity??

Watching the Apple TV+ broadcast of a Friday night Jays game for 1st time (after sign-in’s, QR codes, passcodes, 2-step verifications, etc.) Honestly, as imperfect as Sportsnet broadcasts can be, I don’t think SN executives are losing sleep about this competition. Different, though, for sure.

Wait a minute, Kevin Gausman is currently making $23 million annually with the Jays, and he's looking for free parking?

My ignorance of flora is astounding, but I do know a purty posy when I spot one. I wonder what people call this beauty.

It’s really pretty unsatisfying to watch a team as good as the Blue Jays beat up on a team as horrendous as the Rockies. What has this series proved? Time to get back to competitive baseball…bring on those Dodgers!

I guess there are legal reasons why the government can't lower Confederation Bridge fares only for Islanders, but in fairness, that would have been very cool.

The remarkable thing about the Jays' incredible stretch isn't just how well they're playing, but how they're making alleged great and talented opponents look so ordinary.

I've banked with TD a long time, but if I have to sit through another Jays game where I have to watch the Rhoomba eat that couple's curtains another 50 times, I might consider shopping around, I swear.

Just in time for Canada Day, our new "elbows up" PM bows to Trump after previously insisting the digital services tax would not be rescinded. The White House then crows that Canada "caved." Why must these world leaders always deal with Trump in such a spineless manner?

Saw this bush on a neighbourhood lawn during my walk yesterday through Vanier. Nice yellow blossoms, and purple and green leaves. Don't have a clue what it's called, but it's very pretty and unique.
