I wore my lucky Blue Jays World Series sweatshirt today, personally autographed by Duane Ward himself at the Charlottetown Dairy Queen. But the Jays don't really need luck against these Yankees.

This guy has obviously been fed too often by local residents. No fear, but keen for a handout. I had to talk him into getting back to foraging in the leaves with the rest of his crew.

My ignorance of flora is astounding, but I do know a purty posy when I spot one. I wonder what people call this beauty.

Saw this bush on a neighbourhood lawn during my walk yesterday through Vanier. Nice yellow blossoms, and purple and green leaves. Don't have a clue what it's called, but it's very pretty and unique.

Good for Mario Leclerc for stepping forward for the NDP. Kudos to anyone who puts their name on a ballot, even if prospects aren’t necessarily rosy. Been there, done that.

Is a Northern Cardinal a sign of Spring? Anyway, he's very welcome!

Nice to see something other than a PC sign in Cornwall. Good luck, Jeremy. Thanks for stepping forward.

Hard to have a Christmas Day walk when Cornwall's Waterfront Trail isn't clear. St. Lawrence College cleared their section, but the rest is tough going. The Trail is a jewel, but it needs more year-round TLC from the City.

The congregation of a Wild Church service in the wilds of Toronto were watched by a Red-Tailed Hawk while he was enjoying a lunch of pigeon. Wild!

A combination of the scenic and the not-so-scenic in Cornwall’s Cotton Mill District, as a blazing sunset provides the backdrop to an ancient warehouse. No photo retouching necessary.

Gray’s Creek Conservation Area in South Glengarry Township…what a spot for a Sunday walk! It’s picturesque even at the least picturesque time of the year.
But as picturesque as, say, PEI? Well…

Nice fiery sky in our Le Village neighbourhood this morning.

Even on a dreary November day, the Waterfront Trail by the St. Lawrence River is a pretty spot. As pretty as the scenery in PEI? Almost.

View of the St. Lawrence from Cornwall, Ontario, as my first post on Bluesky. Nice to be here.
