As it’s National #comingoutday I would like to offer this:

1) you don’t have to come out to family first

2) think of the person who’s given signs they’d be most accepting in your life to talk to

3) take your time. It can be small steps, not a bungee jump

True. I have realised that there are a lot of people who just seem to latch on to the establishment feel of ‘knowledgable British white guy’ Doctor Who, than ‘citizen of the universe’ Doctor Who.

I know this isn’t the point, but there’s an awful lot that went over that guy’s head in the Sylvester McCoy era.

It’s not rare for conservatives to miss analogy it seems, but there’s a whole story basically shouting, “Thatcher is terrible!”

Of interest to probably no one, I’m still thinking about Penny Seranade (1944), which I watched last night. It’s a kind of fucked up movie tbh. But also has one of Cary Grant’s best performances I’ve seen.

Anyway, ID cards that are not-for-foreigners are such bobbins. It screams desperation. Like demonising marginalised people as a way to look like you’re relevant, without doing anything of worth, for example.
